Silver Nomad started from my love for making things by hand.

My background has always been in drawing, sculpting and working with materials. My interest in jewelry grew while traveling, where I spent countless hours in jewelry and stone shops — looking, asking questions, buying stones and learning about the materials and the work behind them.

Back home, I began studying silversmithing seriously, spending almost a year learning the craft and building a strong foundation. On later travels, I continued learning and working with local jewelers, while collecting stones, tools and new ideas along the way.

Today, I make each piece by hand in my workshop, mainly using sterling silver and natural gemstones. From time to time, I also work with fossils, bones, and other materials that catch my interest.

Much of my work begins without a fixed design. I work directly with the metal and stone, allowing the piece to develop through the making process. Tool marks, textures and small irregularities are often left as part of the finished work.

Silver Nomad is an ongoing collection of that process — things I make, techniques I explore, and stones I find interesting along the way.
